about

Letter, along with 80's are both written many years before the recording of the album, during the early 00's. Dimitris had his twin sons and was making an effort of becoming a worthy father for his family.

"...I remember me trying to manage myself. Being with my sons, seeing them grow, I was reliving my childhood. The memories where so vivid that I was actually there, in their world, reliving mine as a child. I had a rough time growing up myself and unfortunately I can't talk about it openly because of some sensitive matters that people usually don't understand and end up mocking. I just didn't want to make them feel what I felt, all that stress. On the one hand there was me trying to manage my esoteric problems in order to stand up to the task of rising my kids and on the other hand there were my kids and wife suffering from my irresponsibility. You see I was a 30 year old kid that needed to subside... and thus the phrase "My angry teeth and tears I won't show, You burn the child and let the young man breath" or "child don't make me harm the ones I care".

This letter is a humble statement to my wife and kids
Honestly I want to be redeemed

Redeemed from justifying my mistakes oh foolish me
Read your father is making here a try

Every night I see you guys sleeping in your bed
Something urges me to offer more

But it’s more to me so I can stand beside you a worthy friend
No remorse you pity me no more

Why don’t you all get over with me?
You burn me up and let the young man breath in my seat
My angry teeth and tears I won’t show
Burn me the child you let the young man breathe
Let me breathe

Self pity is keeping me away from trying out my best
This may be a reason that you’ll hurt

While the mistakes of my poor father lurk above my head
Child don’t let me harm the ones I care
